Rovebound is designed to work with very little visitor data.

Accountability
Rovebound treats the operator as the privacy lead for the service. Privacy questions, access/correction requests and complaints can be sent to atlasventures47@gmail.com.
Using the site and Planner
You can browse without an account, payment or profile. The current Planner processes its selections in your browser. To carry your Personal Legend into pages such as Pack for the Story during the same browsing session, Rovebound may store a limited trip profile in browser session storage, such as the route match, TEEM companion signal, timing, carry style and related Planner signals. This is designed to stay in your browser session rather than creating a Rovebound account. Rovebound does not intentionally transmit Planner choices to an AI service, advertising network or affiliate merely to produce the on-page result.
Hosting and technical requests
Rovebound is delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. Like ordinary web hosting and security services, Cloudflare can receive technical request information such as IP address, requested page, time, browser/device information and security signals in order to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare’s own service terms and privacy practices apply to its processing.
AvantLink verification script
While affiliate-network ownership verification is pending, the Rovebound homepage may load an AvantLink website-verification script. Loading a third-party script can send standard request information to that provider. Rovebound does not use this verification script to send your Personal Legend selections or to process a purchase. The script can be removed once the verification purpose is finished.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and anything you choose to include. We use it to respond, investigate the issue and keep records where reasonably needed. Our launch contact currently uses Google/Gmail, whose own service terms and privacy practices apply.
Cookies, analytics and consent
Rovebound’s own current page scripts do not intentionally set advertising cookies or build a behavioural advertising profile. If Rovebound later adds non-essential analytics, advertising tags or similar tracking, the privacy notice and consent experience should be updated before those tools are enabled. Browser session storage used to carry your Planner result is limited to the current browsing session and is used to provide the feature you requested.
External and affiliate links
When you follow an external or affiliate link, you leave Rovebound. The destination service can receive request information and use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. Affiliate reporting may later include clicks, qualifying transactions and commission information. Rovebound does not need your card number or payment details to receive an affiliate commission.
Service providers and processing outside Canada
Some service providers used to host, protect or receive email may process information in other countries. Information processed outside Canada can be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed. Rovebound remains responsible for personal information under its control and should use service providers and safeguards appropriate to the information involved.
Retention and safeguards
We keep information only as reasonably needed for the stated purpose and applicable legal obligations. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and services in use, but no storage or transmission method is perfectly secure.
