- Be useful and honest. Distinguish planned trips from trips you travelled. Label estimates, dates, sponsored relationships and AI-assisted ideas. Never present an old price or route as verified today.
- Protect privacy. Share only details you have permission to share. Leave out home addresses, booking references, identity documents and another person’s live location. Avoid revealing sensitive cultural or natural sites.
- Respect creators and communities. Use your own work or obtain permission, credit creators, and follow local access rules and community guidance.
- Keep people safe. No harassment, hate, threats, scams or instructions to trespass or evade safety restrictions. A trip story is not proof that a road, trail or border is currently accessible.
- Keep promotion transparent. Disclose affiliate and sponsored relationships. No spam, fake reviews or unsupported “cheapest” claims. Buying through a partner is always optional.
- You choose what becomes public. Saving a contribution creates a private draft. Submit it for human review when ready. Moderators can edit, reject or remove posts; reports are reviewed privately. You can withdraw your contribution. Review decisions and reports are retained for moderation.
